Gender-neutral Pronouns

Gender-neutral pronouns (sometimes referred to as GNPs, though this can also refer to Gross National Product) are pronouns that denote a person but do not reveal that person's gender. Michael Spivak used letters like 'e' as GNPs; older forms of the English language may have used the letter pair 'ou'.

Example:

I saw Alex last night.
Really? Did you talk to ou about the conspiracy?
Shh!
